i loved the spacious room, perfect after a long journey. the staff was friendly, especially during check-in. the hotel's surrounding areas offered good parking, a super plus for me. breakfast had a great selection with buffet style and high food quality.
The room had some minor lighting issues. A couple of bulbs weren't working though the problem was resolved quickly.

breakfast included a buffet, stocked with good quality food choices for everyone, the buffet presentation was well organised. gluten-free options were available at dinner, a detail i appreciate when dining.

My room was quite dated. The curtains were ripped and did not meet in the middle. This left a significant gap, letting light in. That was an issue.

The building had a historical feel, complete with interior paneling. The gardens surrounding the area were beautiful and well kept. The family suite was large and clean (a real treat for us).
I found the lack of an elevator inconvenient. There were many stairs to navigate (especially with luggage). My room had no drinking water and no tissues were provided.
